Nabimba
Another re-orchestration option for Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess” – nabimba! Nabimba is an instrument by the JC Deagan Company, made in the early 1900s, that mimics the buzz marimbas and xylophones of Africa and Latin America. Excerpt played by Drew Talley. Nabimba owned by L.A. Percussion Rentals as part of the Emil Richards Collection (legendary studio percussionist).
